Family Shabbat Service

For those kids who have graduated from Tot Shabbat (and beyond), our Family Service allows families to observe Shabbat together. Services often include and are led by our Religious School children.

The First Friday of every Month

6:30 PM

Regular Shabbat Service

CBT's Shabbat service is a good way to end the week and reflect on life. Hear the prayers and wonderful music.

 

Join us each fourth Friday for a musically-charged and inspiring Shabbat Service.

Saturday Morning Shabbat Service

Saturday morning Shabbat services are scheduled once per month. And, during the Religious School year, students and their families attend.

* There are some exceptions during some Jewish and National Holidays. Please consult our Calendar for exact dates and times. 

** Onegs follow most all Friday evening services, even Tot Shabbat! Check Family Services for "pre" Onegs and Shabbat Dinners.

Come meet and study with Rabbi Young; or, take advantage of the many learning opportunities within CBT.

For the coming year, the theme for CBT's study and education will be Israel.

This class is taught by Dwight Borses and is in the CBT Social Hall.

Sweetheart Night

Brotherhood is sponsoring Sweetheart night. Bring your sweetheart to a showing of Catskills on Broadway. There will be nosh, as usual.

 

Please RSVP to the Office by February 16. Prices are $15.00 per couple or $7.50 for individuals. Yes, individuals are welcome!

Join CBT for its Almost-World-Famous Purim Spiel. In order to become World Famous, we have invited Temple Beth Sholom to join us and enjoy our spiel-ling. 

 

Before Shabbat services and the Spiel, CBT will host a Mediterranean-style dinner. See below for the flyer and pricing. RSVP's are required. 

 

We pack the house each year for Purim Spiel. Get there early!

Purim Casino Night

As we have invited Temple Beth Sholom to CBT for Purim Spiel, they have invited us to their Purim Casino night. 

 

  • This event is BYOB (bring your own beverage – alcohol or not) and potluck snack bar (no meat).
  • Costumes encouraged – don your favorite era of casino-wear.
  • We’ll provide cards and chips, but if you want to play mah jongg or any other game (Cards Against Humanity) feel free to bring along your game set.
  • Prizes will be given out at the end of the evening.
