Involvement is the best way to immerse one’s self in a community.
What do you like to do? What are your strengths? Volunteering can be anything from helping to set up or break down an event, to sitting on the Board of Trustees — and everything in between. Are you creative? Maybe website design or fundraising ideas are right for you. Is Social Action your passion? Join a Committee to help CBT and make a difference in the community.
Volunteering connects you with others who have similar interests and passions. From this comes lifetime friendships, havurot, and the building of our CBT community.
Havurot are small groups of like-minded CBT members who gather regularly outside of the synagogue. CBT can help you connect with others who are also interested in creating a Havurah. But many in our congregation have developed a Havurah on their own. Many Havurot have been in existence for decades. Spending time and enjoying activities together bond individuals, couples, and families. Havurot can start young and last a lifetime!
Helping the Community
Our Social Action committee takes on many causes that are important to CBT and those around us. Relay for Life, Mitzvah Day, and CBT’s annual Yom Kippur Food Drive are just some of the activities chaired by CBT’s Social Action committee.
B’nai Tzedek has been blessed with donations in many forms, which have sustained our community and enabled us to grow.
How do I get Involved?
