If this is your first time visiting our website, or if you are new to our synagogue, Shalom! Welcome! Let us help you get acquainted with our community. Below is some information regarding services, events, and other ways to get to know us better.
CBT has Shabbat services every Friday evening. Once a month we have a Family service (which starts a little earlier) and Tot Shabbat (a fun, 30 minute service for the youngest of our families). There is also a monthly Saturday morning service that is family-oriented, although everyone is welcome. Our Religious School classes attend this service as well. For more information about service times, look at our Shabbat and Calendar pages.
B’nai Tzedek also has a number of events for everyone to enjoy. Annual events include our Gala Event (dinner, raffle, and silent auction), “world-famous” Purim Spiel, Fruit of the Vine wine tasting under our full-sized Sukkah, and a family Chanukah dinner. With Rabbi Young’s culinary expertise, watch for cooking classes and competitions such as the Chili Cook-Off. And don’t miss Mitzvah Day, which has many planned events for the whole family. Our Events page keeps you up to date.
There are many Havurot within our community. Havurot are small groups of like-minded CBT members who gather regularly outside of the synagogue. If you are interested in joining, please contact us. Many Havurot have been in existence for years. Members connect and families grow together.
Rabbi Young would love to meet with you to answer any questions about CBT and our community. You can also read a welcome from Rabbi Young. April Akiva, Director of our Religious School, can answer any questions you have about our warm and intimate school.
We certainly hope you will get to know us through many of the services, activities, and classes that CBT offers.
