Mitzvah Day 2017

Mitzvah Day 2017 is right around the corner. It is a great way to help the community and world while also teaching our children. Mitzvah Day is for all ages.

 

This year, all projects are on-site. We have a great list of activities that will touch people in need. Register below. 

 

Please donate to the Social Action Fund to help fund Mitzvah Day and other social action projects. 

 

2017 AGENDA

8:00 AM  Red Cross blood drive begins. Registration begins. 

8:30 AM  Kick-Off in the Sanctuary.

9:00 AM CBT On-Site projects begin.

12:00 PM – 2:00 PM  Lunch and treats, reflection, and wrap-up.

 

PROJECT LIST

Onsite projects  You are welcome to move among the various projects at CBT during the day.

Blood Drive — The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be in the CBT parking lot from 8:00 AM – 2:15 PM. Make an appointment at www.redcrossblood.org using the sponsor code: bnaitzedek. 

Prayer Book and Torah Repair 

Outdoor Space mural painting

Pack Socks/Underwear— For the Illumination Foundation

Sort and assemble hygiene kits and Lunches – for Beach Cities Interfaith Services

Blankets and Toys for our Canine friends. 
 
Vases with handmade Flowers – for Heritage Pointe Senior Living
 
Brownie Baking – for fire and police stations
 
Renovation Projects at CBT – help keep CBT looking great!
